Description

Collector’s interest vintage rangefinder camera. The Zeiss-Ikon Contessa 35 (Circa 1955) This camera has been fully overhauled, all controls are accurate and functional except for the selenium meter that is gone forever due to age. They did not supply spare parts for it. The good thing is that the camera can be used with a smart phone meter app, a real handheld meter or what is best with a compact meter with cold shoe attachment such as the excellent Doomo meter S (Not included)

135 (35mm) film type camera with a f2.8 45mm Tessar and coupled rangefinder. Synchro-Compur Leaf shutter B, 1 to 1/500 seconds. Comes with the camera’s original case, original metal hood, and yellow filter in case. The camera case was torn at the joint base when we got it, but with the help of our Leathersmith man we turned it into a two-piece set effectively converting it into an ever-ready case.

This camera has been overhauled off-site by a professional Kodak Retina specialist. Camera is very clean, all dials, controls, and settings are smooth and fully operable. Leatherette has been restored as needed. Comes with everything in images except the Doomo meter (PICTURES are of the actual item for sale)
We tested this camera and concluded that it works great. See the images of the pictures we took with this camera in the last frame/s. Message me with questions you may have before committing to buy; I will consider reasonable offers. Please note that this item is considered vintage and the sale will be final.
